Chrisanthidis SA was founded in 1980 in Nea Karvali, Kavala, in a small family workshop where they made their famous kourabie with the traditional flavor of a home recipe. Year by year, the family and their first partners experimented, tried, rejected, and finally created a wide range of premium quality kourabie, comparable to the best pastry shops at the time. Meanwhile, the number of their customers and the reputation of their products started to take off. So, in a very short time, they made it into a modern, dynamic bakery and pastry production site. Today, the company is located in a 5,000 sq.m. site, featuring cutting-edge technology and 120 highly trained employees.
The company’s product range consists of different variations of handmade kourabie (an almond butter cookie), melomakarona (honey cakes), tsoureki (Greek brioche) and healthy cookies. The professional activity of the company includes three directions, wholesale in the international and domestic markets, 3 Highway Rest Areas, and a chain of 8 bakery and confectionery stores. Following a successful course of business in those industries, Vikelidis-Chrisanthidis SA is now a leader in Northern Greece in the production and sale of baked goods and pastries, and one of the few companies that export products across the globe.
